ABOUT #artnashville

The latest annual destination for the international art world: Nashville, Tennessee.

The postponement of Art Nashville is exactly that, a postponement. Our 2019 dates are fixed at October 16-20, 2019. We truly look forward to having you as our guests in Music City.

A few weeks ago, it became clear that we were a few months short of being able to accomplish what we had set forth. We initially thought of postponing the fair by a few months and had found what we thought a suitable time slot in the fine art world calendar to do so, but after major discussions with our main sponsor, they recommended we move the event by a year.

The reaction and response have been mostly supportive and understanding of a start-up fair boldly trying to establish itself in a market that has never hosted a major art fair in the past. Make no mistake, Nashville has the demographics and the international profile to host an event of this prestige and magnitude.

Please contact us for further details.

  • Exhibitors: The pinnacle of the fair, our 30 gallery spaces are reserved for galleries with contemporary, emerging or modern artists in their rosters. The galleries in our main exhibition space must be in operation between two and five years, shown in prominent, juried art fairs or biennales. Top consideration if you have major press accolades or have sat on committee boards.

  • Startup Program: Our incubator program gives exceptional opportunity to emerging galleries and new concept fusion galleries to exhibit new media works and high-concept booths.  These galleries will have the opportunity to market and make a name.

  • Printers Alley: In homage to Nashville’s long and robust printing and publishing past. Now Printers Alley is a hub of restaurants, nightclubs and music venues. Our 5-booth pavilion will showcase printed works and multiples, curated by Daniel Lonow from Hatch Show Print located in Downtown Nashville. Hatch Show Print is one of Nashville’s most historic and distinguished printers.

  • Music Row: Home to hundreds of businesses and global record companies. Music Row is the heart of Nashville’s music and entertainment industry. As a reflection of Music City and Nashville’s rich ingrained love for music, this 5-booth pavilion will be galleries who showcase musical artists turned Fine Artist. Curator TBD.
